Rotary Club of Montague Entrance Bursary for Kings County Students at Holland College 2026

Introduction: 

Established in 1986, the Rotary Club of Montague has played a significant role in supporting community initiatives throughout Kings County. Through its commitment to education, the club created the Rotary Club of Montague Entrance Bursary for Kings County Students to assist students from Eastern Prince Edward Island who are pursuing post-secondary studies at Holland College.

Eligibility requirement for Rotary Club of Montague Entrance Bursary for Kings County Students at Holland College:

• Be from Eastern Prince Edward Island, defined as the region east of the Stratford town line.
• Be entering their first year of study in a program at Holland College.
• Demonstrate financial need.
• Preference will be given to applicants who:
  • Have experienced a break in their education and are returning to school.
  • Are single parents with responsibility for one or more dependents.
  • To renew the award for a second year, recipients must achieve a minimum average of 70% in their chosen program.

Value of the scholarship:

A CAD 1,110 is awarded to support a full-time student

Application Process:

• Apply for admission to an eligible program at Holland College.
• Complete the bursary application through the college's awards system.
• Provide information demonstrating financial need.
• Answer all supplemental questions related to residency and educational background.
• Submit the application before the April 2, 2026 deadline.
• Eligible applications will be reviewed, with priority given to candidates meeting the preferred criteria.
