The purpose of the Robert Chapman Prize in Politics and International Relations is to recognize and reward the undergraduate student with the most outstanding work in New Zealand politics within the Politics and International Relations program, encouraging excellence in the field.

Eligibility Criteria for the Robert Chapman Prize in Politics and International Relations:

Applicants must:

Be a first-year Bachelor of Arts (BA) or BA conjoint student
Be majoring or specialising in Politics and International Relations
Be enrolled in the School of Social Sciences
Have achieved the highest marks in an introductory course in New Zealand politics in the year of the award
Have received at least an A grade in the relevant introductory course

Value of the Robert Chapman Prize in Politics and International Relations:

The annual value of the Prize will be $1,000.

Application Process:

No separate application is necessary. All eligible applicants will be automatically considered for the scholarship.
