SMU Global Impact Scholarship Award 2023

Eligibility for SMU Global Impact Scholarship Award:

• The applicant must be a citizen of Singapore.
• Outstanding Singapore-Cambridge GCE "A" level, local polytechnic diploma, International Baccalaureate diploma, NUS High School diploma, or comparable credentials are required of the student.
• The applicant must exhibit great leadership potential and talents.
• Excellent performance in extracurricular and/or community activities is required of the student.
• The applicant ought to be submitting an application to SMU for admission to a full-time undergraduate program.

How to apply?

• Applicants for the SMU Global Impact Scholarship Award should apply for the scholarships at the same time as they are applying for admission at SMU.
• Candidates should submit a recommendation letter and a personal essay.
• Applicants will be assessed based on their academic and non-academic qualifications.

Benefits of the scholarship:

• coverage of tuition costs (after the MOE Tuition Grant rebate)
• A yearly living stipend of S$5,000
• One-time computer allowance of S$1,800 upon registration
• S$14,000 Global Learning Opportunities Worldwide (GLOW) award to support any one of the following, in part or in combination:
• • Summer Program for Exchange Students Abroad
  • International Community Service Initiative
  • International School Study Trips
  • International Case Competitions and Conference Presentations
