Rio Tinto Talent Indigenous Scholarship at University of Western Australia 2026

Introduction: 

The Rio Tinto Talent Scholarship (Indigenous Australian) is funded by Rio Tinto Pty Ltd and administered by The University of Western Australia (UWA). The scholarship is designed to encourage and support high-achieving Indigenous Australian students to complete an eligible Bachelor's degree or commence and pursue an eligible Master's degree in career-focused fields at UWA.

Eligibility requirements for the UWA Indigenous Achievement Scholarship at the University of Western Australia:

• Applicant must be an Indigenous Australian and to be enrolled in the second or third year of an eligible undergraduate degree,
• Be commencing or enrolled in the first year of an eligible postgraduate Master's degree.

Value of the scholarship:

A full-time student will be awarded AUD 16,000.

Application Process:

No separate scholarship application is required.
