Applications are invited for one or more full time PhD (via MPhil) studentships in Astrophysics in the Jeremiah Horrocks Institute at University of Central Lancashire. The studentships are funded by the Science and Technologies Facilities Council (STFC)/University of Central Lancashire/Moses Holden Foundation. The studentships are open to international applicants. The studentships are tenable for 3.5 years full-time.
Eligibility criteria for the PhD Studentships in Astrophysics, 2021:
- Applicants from all nationalities are eligible.
- Applicants must have BSc in Mathematics, Physics or Astrophysics at 2:1 or above.
- Applicants must have Masters level qualification such as MPhys or MSc.
- Applicants must have given a undergraduate project work.
- International applicants require an English Language level of UKVI IELTs 6.5 (no sub-score below 6.0) or equivalent qualification.
