  • The Payne International Development Fellowship is available to students applying to Heinz College who are also applying for the USAID Donald M. Payne Fellowship.
  • Applicants should indicate their interest in the Payne Fellowship on their application and resume.
  • Finalists (those selected for interviews) will also be considered for merit-based awards from Heinz College.

Application Process

  • The application deadline for students applying to the Payne Fellowship is extended to March 10.
  • Applicants need to submit their Heinz College application and indicate that they are applying for the Payne Fellowship.
  • There is no separate application for merit-based awards, as all Payne Fellowship applicants will automatically be considered for them.
