Darwin T. Turner Scholars Program at University of Cincinnati 2026

Eligibility Criteria for Darwin T. Turner Scholars Program:

Applicants must:

• Be an incoming first-year undergraduate student (no prior post-high school college enrollment)
• Have a minimum GPA of:
  • 3.0 (unweighted) or
  • 3.2 (weighted)
• Apply to a bachelor’s degree program at the University of Cincinnati
• Graduate from a high school in eligible regions:
  • Ohio: Hamilton, Butler, Warren, Clermont, Brown counties
  • Indiana: Dearborn County
  • Kentucky: Kenton, Boone, Campbell counties
• Be from any high school type (public, private, charter, homeschool)

Value of Darwin T. Turner Scholars Program:

• Full tuition coverage (8 semesters / in-state tuition equivalent)
• Coverage of student fees
• Students not qualifying for in-state residency may still owe non-resident surcharges
• Includes structured academic enrichment and program support (non-monetary benefits)

Application Process:

Eligible students are automatically considered after submitting their University of Cincinnati application by November 1. Those who qualify receive an email invitation to apply for the scholarship, rather than submitting a separate initial application.
