The purpose of the Scheme is to support deserving students from minority populations who are poor by providing financial aid so they can pursue technical and professional programs.
Eligibility Criteria for Merit Cum Means Scholarship For Professional and Technical Courses:
- Scholarships will be given to students who passed the last final exam with at least 50% of the possible points or an equal grade.
- The annual income of parents/guardians from all sources does not exceed Rs.2.50 lakh.
- Students who pass a competitive exam and are accepted into a college to study technical or professional courses will be qualified for the award.
Application Process:
The scheme is implemented through the National Scholarship Portal (NSP). All students must apply online.
Value of the Scholarship:
The full course fee is reimbursed for 85 listed Institutes and maintenance allowance.
