    Korea Health Industry Development Institute (KHIDI) in cooperation with NIH is offering Korean Visiting Scientist Training Award (KVSTA), 2017 to support young Korean postdoctoral researchers.

    Eligibility criteria:

    • Applicants of Korean Visiting Scientist Training Award (KVSTA), 2017 must be Korean citizens or permanent residents.
    • Applicants must have received a Ph.D. equivalent doctoral degree within past 5 years as of September 1, 2017.
    • Candidates applying for Korean Visiting Scientist Training Award (KVSTA), 2017 must have at least one degree obtained in Korea.
    • Candidates must satisfy the eligibility requirements of the NIH's Intramural Visiting Fellow Program (VFP). 
    • Citizens and permanent residents of the US are ineligible to apply.
