Jeffrey D. Law Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship honors Jeffrey D. Law and is intended to support upperclassmen and graduate students in the Department of Kinesiology at Sacramento State.

Eligibility criteria for Jeffrey D. Law Memorial Scholarship -

• The applicant must have minimum GPA of 3.5 
• The applicant must be pursuing any major under Department of Kinesiology.
• The applicant can be Junior and Senior.
• The applicant must be enrolled full-time at time of award and at time of application.
• The applicant must submit One-page list of extracurricular activities and/or employment, awards, and achievement along with the name, city, and state of high school they attended.
• The applicant must submit Short essay (200-400 words) and share the following: (1) Career goals in the strength and conditioning field and (2) Any hardships or obstacles faced in pursuit of your education at Sacramento State, and what you are doing to overcome those hardships

Application process -

• Please submit a One-page Resume that outline the following: your name, city, and state where you attended high school, and provide a list of extracurricular activities and/or employment, awards, and achievement.
• Please submit a Short-Response of (min 200 to max 400 word):(A) Sharing your career goals in the strength and conditioning field (B) any hardships or obstacles faced in pursuit of their education at Sacramento State (c) what you are doing to overcome those hardships
