Eligibility Criteria for The Antonio Carluccio Foundation Professional Training Year Bursary:

Be a current undergraduate student undertaking a Professional Training year in 2026/27
Demonstrate a strong interest in a career in the restaurant or food & beverage sector
Meet at least one widening participation criterion, such as:
- From low participation neighbourhoods (POLAR4 Quintiles 1–2)
- From high deprivation areas (IMD Quintiles 1–2)
- From a low-income background (e.g., eligible for free school meals)
- Care leavers or those in local authority care
- From non-professional family backgrounds (NS-SEC 4–8)
- No parental history of higher education
- Have a disability
- Young carers
- Mature students
- Refugees or asylum seekers
- Estranged from family
- From armed forces families
- From Black, Asian, or minority ethnic backgrounds
- From Gypsy, Roma, Traveller, or similar communities

Value of The Antonio Carluccio Foundation Professional Training Year Bursary:

A bursary of £4,000 awarded for the Professional Training year.
