International Chemistry Scholarship at University of Birmingham 2025

The School of Chemistry is happy to be able to recognize and reward our top incoming international students to celebrate your academic achievements before arriving as a student at the University of Birmingham. 

Eligibility for the International Chemistry Scholarship:

• Applicants must identify as international students (for fee-paying purposes).
• Applicants must enroll in any of the eligible programs offered at the university.

     Eligible Courses:

• Chemistry BSc (F100)  
• Chemistry MSci (F101)  
• Chemistry with Industrial Experience MSci (F104)  
• Chemistry with Study Abroad MSci (F106)  
• Chemistry with a Modern Language BSc (F1R9)  
• Chemistry with a Modern Language MSci (F1RY)  
• Chemistry with Medicinal Chemistry and Drug Discovery BSc (F1M3)
• Chemistry with Medicinal Chemistry and Drug Discovery MSci (F1M4)
• Chemistry with Business Management BSc (F1N1)  
• Chemistry with Business Management MSci (F1N2)
• Chemistry with Sustainability BSC (F107)
• Chemistry with Sustainability MSci (F108)

Application Process:

All eligible candidates are automatically considered for the scholarship based on the following rankings:

• Chemistry A Level  
• Other top 2 A Level grades
• Additional A Levels and AS Levels
• Other UCAS tariff 

Value of the Scholarship:

The successful candidates are awarded a GBP 2,000 tuition fee reduction during year 1 semester 1 for the top 10 students who meet the conditions.
