India Scholarship - Undergraduate at University of Lancaster 2026

Eligibility Criteria for the India Scholarship – Undergraduate:

• Applicants must be a national of, or permanent resident of India.
• Applicants must be an international fee paying applicant.
• It is available across all full-time undergraduate degree courses offered fully on campus at Lancaster University Bailrigg campus.
• Applicants must meet or exceed the conditions of their offer to receive the scholarship.
• Applicants must be classed as 'overseas' or ‘international' fee-paying students for tuition fee purposes, for the duration of their studies.

Application Process:

There is no separate application process for this scholarship. Eligible students will be identified automatically through their application.

Value of the India Scholarship – Undergraduate:

The award will be worth £3,000 and will be awarded as a tuition fee reduction, each year of study, for undergraduate courses.

Note:

• Applicants must meet the criteria, the  Undergraduate Excellence Scholarship - International, or the Lancaster University International Study Centre Progression Scholarship, can be combined with this India Scholarship – Undergraduate however, it cannot be combined with any other scholarships awarded by Lancaster University.
• If an applicant is eligible for both the India Scholarship - Undergraduate and a scholarship and/or tuition fee discount from any of our international teaching partnerships, only the award of the highest value will be made.
