Introduction:

The David Latten Social Impact Award was established in July 2023 by the Logitech Cares Fund, a fund of the Tides Foundation, to honor the life and legacy of David Latten. The award supports students committed to advancing responsible supply chains, sourcing, diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I), and social impact.

Eligibility criteria for the David Latten Social Impact Award at University College Cork:

  • The applicants must be incoming or current University College Cork (UCC) students studying Supply Chain Management or a STEM subject.
  • The priority is given to the women and students from less privileged, marginalized, or minority backgrounds who can demonstrate financial need.
  • The applicants from any discipline at UCC may apply if they can demonstrate that their field of study contributes to responsible supply chains, sourcing, and social impact.
  • The bursary can only be awarded once per individual.
