Overview

Eligibility for the International Undergraduate Student Bursary:

  • The applicants must be classed as international students.
  • The applicants must complete at least 60 percent of the full course load per term.
  • Graduate students do not need to meet credit hour requirements if they are registered as full-time students during the fall and winter terms.
  • Applicants must meet minimum G.P.A. requirements.
    • Continuing students must have a minimum degree G.P.A. of 2.0.
    • New students (from high school) must have a grade 12 average of 70% or higher.
  • Applicants from other provinces applying for government loans must furnish a recent official government loan assessment to prove they need financial help. 
  • International students in their first year of post-secondary study in Canada are ineligible.

Value of the International Undergraduate Student Bursary:

The successful applicants are awarded a sum (annually) from the pool of $240,000.
