Hill Family Entrance Award at Holland College 2026

Introduction: 

The Hill Family Entrance Award was established by Jamie Hill and Tracy Hill to support single parents pursuing post-secondary education at Holland College. The award aims to reduce financial barriers for students who are responsible for supporting dependent children while furthering their education.

Eligibility requirement for Hill Family Entrance Award at Holland College:

• Must be entering the first year of a post-secondary program at Holland College.
• Must demonstrate financial need.
• Must be the primary caregiver of one or more dependent children.
• Must submit an essay outlining professional promise and financial need.
• Open to students in all Holland College programs.

Value of the scholarship:

A CAD 5,120 is awarded to support a full-time student

Application Process:

• Apply for admission to a Holland College post-secondary program.
• Complete the scholarship application before the deadline (April 2, 2026).
• Submit an essay describing:
  • Your professional goals and potential.
  • Your financial need.
• Provide any required information demonstrating caregiver responsibilities and financial circumstances.
