Frederick W. Kauer Grad Scholarship in Physiology at San Francisco State University 2025

Frederick W. Kauer Graduate Scholarship in Physiology is to support the education needs of graduate students in physiology through scholarships.

Eligibility criteria:

• Open to all nationals 
• Must be in good academic standing in the Biology department.
• Must be enrolled at a master's level majoring in physiology at the university.
• Must achieve a GPA of 3.0. 

Value: $1,000

Application requirements: 

1. Applicants must write an essay (under 1000 words) on your research's relevance to conservation biology, your professional goals, and the scholarship's impact on your life.
2. Obtain a recommendation from an SFSU Biology faculty member by May 31st, detailing their familiarity with you, your academic performance, and relevant experiences.
3. Submit a second recommendation about your academic qualifications from any professor or supervisor by May 31st.
4. Provide unofficial transcripts for all previous and current graduate and undergraduate work.
