Eligibility Criteria for Fong Family Emerging Scholars Fund:

Applicants must:

• Be a graduate or undergraduate student at the University of Colorado Boulder.
• Demonstrate financial need.
• Belong to a group that is underrepresented at the university, or come from historically underrepresented geographic or socioeconomic backgrounds.
• Preference is given to applicants who:
  • Are first-generation college students.
  • Have faced unusual adversity or significant life challenges.
  • Come from communities that have historically had limited access to higher education opportunities.

Value of Fong Family Emerging Scholars Fund:

The scholarship award amount varies and may be renewed for up to four years, subject to continued eligibility and available funding.
