Dr. Paul R. Crombach Scholarship Fund

Established in 2006 by the family and friends of Paul Crombach, DDS ’71.

Eligibility criteria -

The applicant must be a third-year student in the School of Dental Medicine in good academic standing; must exemplify various personal characteristics such as conscientiousness in studies, sensitivity and appreciation for peers, helpfulness, and charity.

- ESSAY QUESTION: Awarded to a student entering their third year in good academic standing and exhibits the following characteristics: Conscientiousness in his/her studies and the drive to excel in all academic undertakings; A deep sensitivity and appreciation for peers, faculty members, and patients; Helpfulness, actively seeks opportunities to assist others, not just when asked; Charity, demonstrates charitable acts when he/she identifies a need; Someone who doesn't take him/herself too seriously and partakes in the fun; Being the type of person who everyone could consider a friend and rally to support without hesitation because of his/her demeanor and their respect for him/her. Please attach a one-page personal statement or essay indicating scholarship characteristics.
