The Diana T.Y. Chung and Henry W.S. Chung Memorial Scholarship is awarded each fall to one new and one current international student at SF State, with each award being at least $500. The scholarship is non-renewable and depends on admission and full-time enrollment. Recipients are selected based on academic merit and financial need.
Eligibility criteria:
- Applicants must have valid student visa
- Open to all matriculated (degree-seeking) F-1 & J-1 international students at the undergraduate and graduate levels of study.
- Applicants must be enrolled in a full course of study at SF State.
- Both prospective and continuing international students are eligible to apply.
- Scholarships are one-time, non-renewable, and are given only after admission and full-time enrollment at SF State are confirmed.
- The minimum GPA requirements are 3.25 for undergraduate students and 3.5 for graduate students in all coursework, not just coursework completed at SF State.
- Have enrolled for 12 units for undergraduates; and 8 units for graduates.
