David Herbert Memorial Award

The David Herbert Memorial Award is supported by the David Herbert Memorial Fund, which supports full-time students in the 2nd year of a Diploma program or the 3rd year of a Bachelor of Applied Science program in the School of Horticulture.

Eligibility criteria for the David Herbert Memorial Award:

The applicant must be a full-time student at the college.
The applicant must be a second-year or third-year student at the college.
The applicant must be enrolled in either a Diploma program or in the Bachelor of Applied Science program in the School of Horticulture.
Preference will be given to a single parent.
The applicant must demonstrate their financial needs.
The applicant must have a GPA of 2.50 or better.

Application process for the David Herbert Memorial Award:

Applicants must submit a 500-word essay describing the impact horticulture has had on their life and their motivation for choosing a career in this field of study.
