Cox Architecture Scholarship at University of Technology Sydney 2026

Overview:

To encourage academic excellence in the Bachelor of Design in Architecture and provide the opportunity for a student to gain insight into the day-to-day operation of the architectural profession through a paid work placement.

Eligibility for Cox Architecture Scholarship:

• Australian or New Zealand citizen, or holder of an Australian permanent or permanent humanitarian visa
• Enrolled full-time in the Bachelor of Design in Architecture (C10004)
• Completed at least 96 credit points (or equivalent)
• Achieved a WAM of 80+
• Submit an extended CV
• Submit a digital portfolio (max 3MB, 6 A4 landscape pages):Five pages of original design work (scans/photos, compressed JPEGs)
• One page (150–200 words) discussing one selected piece, its aims, and success
• Available for an in-person interview

Selection process:

• Passion for and motivation to pursue a career in Architecture using innovative thinking and exceptional problem-solving skills
• Initiative to seek opportunities to continually advance their professional and personal lives
• Knowledge of Architecture
• Alignment of values, goals and culture with those of Cox Architecture, including motivation to participate in a paid work placement at Cox Architecture
• Academic merit, personal experience and achievement may also be taken into consideration.
