The Michael Strel Memorial Bursary at the University of Northern British Columbia supports students pursuing studies in Mathematics and/or Physics. The bursary was established in memory of Michael Richard Strel and recognizes students who demonstrate financial need and satisfactory academic standing.

Eligibility Criteria for the Michael Strel Memorial Bursary at the University of Northern British Columbia 2026:

Applicants must be enrolled as a full-time undergraduate or graduate student.
Applicants must have a declared major in Mathematics and/or Physics.
Applicants must demonstrate financial need.
Applicants must demonstrate satisfactory academic standing.
Applicants must be undergraduate students to receive preference.
