Eligibility Criteria for Career Success WIL Grant at RMIT University 2025:
- Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, Australian permanent resident, or permanent humanitarian visa holder.
- Be studying a bachelor’s degree and completing a WIL placement (internship/practicum/fieldwork/co-op) in 2025 as part of the program.
- Demonstrate financial hardship due to the placement (loss of income, additional expenses, or need for specialist resources).
- Belong to at least one equity group:
- Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander
- Rural/regional/remote background
- Low socioeconomic status
- Attend the Career Success WIL Grant Information Session on 18 March 2025.
- Not have previously received a Career Success WIL Grant.
- Not be receiving the Commonwealth Practicum Payment (CPP).
Value of Career Success WIL Grant at RMIT University 2025:
- Up to $3,000, paid in two instalments:
- 50% at the start of the WIL placement
- 50% after completing the placement and all required tasks
- Additional required tasks include:
- Strengths profile assessment
- WIL supervisor report
- Written reflection
- Resume update
- 1:1 career meeting
