Academic Achievement Scholarship at City University of Seattle 2025

Eligibility for Academic Achievement Scholarship at City University of Seattle:

Applicants Must:

• Be a first-time international student applicant to City University (CityU) in Seattle, intending to study on an international student visa (F-1).
• Submit the Financial Declaration Form to the International Student Office, selecting the appropriate scholarship option based on their academic record.
• Have a combined grade average of:
  • 90% or higher for the President’s Merit Award Scholarship.
  • 75% or higher for the Academic Achievement Scholarship.
• Provide transcripts for the entire duration of previously completed academic coursework. If not available, the Registrar’s Office may evaluate the last year of study.
• Apply for an academic degree program (certificate programs and ELP programs do not qualify) no later than one month before the intended start date.
• Hold an active I-20 throughout the award period.
• Maintain full-time enrollment at CityU.
• Start studies within one quarter of receiving the scholarship award letter.
• Students starting in the ELP program must be continuously enrolled, except during approved vacation quarters, and the scholarship will be applied once the student transitions into a degree program.

Application Process:

All eligible candidates must complete and submit the Financial Declaration Form to be considered for the scholarship.

Value of the Scholarship:

The successful candidates are awarded a tuition-only scholarship of USD 2,000.
