Cardiff University and China Scholarship Council PhD Research Scholarships 2024

The China Scholarship Council (CSC) predominantly funds Chinese university students to study overseas for PhD degrees in the fields of science and technology, but will also consider disciplines in the humanities. CSC awards typically cover airfares and living costs for up to four years. Cardiff University is offering tuition fee scholarships to successful China Scholarship Council students who are not currently enrolled on a PhD program.

Eligibility:

• Applicant should have graduated from a foreign language major (including) with a bachelor’s degree or above (the professional language should be consistent with the language used in the destination country).
• Applicants must participate in the "National Foreign Language Proficiency Test" (WSK) and meet the passing standards.
• Applicant should participate in relevant language training at the study abroad training department designated by the Ministry of Education and obtain a certificate of completion (English is an advanced class, and other languages ​​are intermediate classes).
