Eligibility Criteria for the BAE Systems Australia First Nations Scholarship in Engineering at RMIT University 2025:
- Identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander.
- Be an Australian citizen.
- Be enrolling full-time (or part-time in extenuating circumstances) in Semester 1, 2026 in the first or second year of one of the following programs at RMIT:
- Bachelor of Engineering (Adv Manufacturing and Mechatronics) (Honours) (BH068)
- Bachelor of Engineering (Aerospace Engineering) (Honours) (BH078)
- Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical Engineering) (BH075)
- Bachelor of Engineering (Electronic and Computer Systems Engineering) (BH073)
- Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical Engineering) (Honours) (BH070)
- Be willing to consider professional experience, industry placement, and final year projects with BAE Systems Australia.
- Be eligible to apply for and hold an Australian Government Security Clearance.
- Preference given to students who do not already receive another industry scholarship or scholarships worth over $15,000 per year (excluding accommodation-based scholarships).
Value of the BAE Systems Australia First Nations Scholarship in Engineering at RMIT University 2025:
- $10,000 per year for up to 4 years (total up to $40,000)
- May include paid work placement with BAE Systems Australia
