International Student Awards
Introduction:
The International Student Awards recognize high-achieving international students at Yukon University and provide financial support to help them continue their studies.
Eligibility criteria of International Student Awards:
- Applicants must be international students.
- Applicants must have completed a full-time Fall semester at Yukon University in any academic program (including ESL 050 and ESL 030) with a minimum GPA of 3.5.
- Applicants must be enrolled full-time in a Yukon University Winter semester.
- Applicants must submit a typed essay describing one academic challenge they have experienced at Yukon University (maximum 100 words) and how they have overcome the challenge (maximum 100 words).
Application process for International Student Awards:
- Applicants must complete the Student Financial Award Application Form.
- Applicants must submit the required typed essay.
- Applicants must submit their application by January 31, 2027.
Award: 2 x CAD 500 is awarded to a full-time student.
