The A.T.J. Cairns Memorial Undergraduate Scholarship is offered annually to continuing undergraduate students with either a major or minor in English. Registered full-time but need not be carrying a full course load.
Eligibility for the A.T.J. Cairns Memorial Undergraduate Scholarship:
Applicants must:
- Be a continuing undergraduate student at the University of Calgary.
- Be enrolled in the Faculty of Arts.
- Have a major or minor in English (ENGL).
- Be entering the second, third, or fourth year of study.
- Be registered full-time (though not required to take a full course load).
Selection Criteria:
- Academic merit in Creative Writing in English, English Literature, and related literary fields.
- Selections are made by the Department of English.
Value of the Scholarship:
Students will receive up to $3,000.
