Introduction:
The Algoma U Awards of Excellence are entrance scholarships for students entering their first undergraduate program at Algoma University. These awards are awarded for high academic achievement based on secondary school results or International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma performance.
Eligibility requirements for the Algoma University Awards of Excellence :
- Must be a Canadian citizen secondary-school graduate or an International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma recipient
- Must be entering first undergraduate program at Algoma University
- Must enrol in and maintain 24 credits over two consecutive terms
Value of the scholarship:
- Platinum: 95%+ (or 40+ IB points) – CAD 4,000
- Gold: 90–94.9% (or 36–39 IB points) – CAD 3,000
- Silver: 85–89.9% (or 32–35 IB points) – CAD 2,500
- Bronze: 80–84.9% (or 28–31 IB points) – CAD 1,500
