Eligibility for the Alberta Graduate Excellence Scholarship (AGES) at the University of Calgary:

Applicants must:

Be registered full-time in a thesis-based graduate degree program at the University of Calgary, either Master’s or Doctoral
Be living in Alberta while enrolled and studying
Meet specific eligibility conditions for their AGES stream, such as program year limits, faculty nomination requirements, or citizenship status
Apply through the Graduate Award Competition or other required application processes as determined by the program or department
Meet University of Calgary Faculty of Graduate Studies award regulations regarding eligibility, including full-time registration and not being fully funded by a third-party sponsor unless permitted

Application Process:

All eligible candidates must contact their respective program office for the scholarship process.
The candidates are then nominated to FGS.

Value of the Scholarship:

The successful candidates are awarded a scholarship of CAD 11,000.
