Exeter Excellence Scholarships at the University of Exeter

The Exeter Excellence Scholarships reward exceptional academic performance by providing financial support for your studies at the University of Exeter. Our goal is to welcome high-achieving students from across the globe to join our active academic community, where you’ll benefit from excellent teaching, learning opportunities, and research, while also enriching our diverse and international campus environment.

Eligibility for University of Exeter Excellence Scholarships:

• To pay fees, the student should be categorized as an international student (including any EU students who will need to pay international fees in 2024–25).
• The University of Exeter should have already extended an offer to the student for a qualifying undergraduate degree, starting in September 2024.

Selection Criteria:

• Academic quality, as determined by the data you submitted with your UCAS application.  Generally, applicants must show they have earned or can earn the 34 points from the International Baccalaureate or the GCE A-level grades AAB. The bar is higher for the Business School, with grades A or above at the GCE A level.  For further information, visit our website on entry requirements.
• The capacity to provide evidence of the following during the application process: academic aspirations; aspirations for your future profession; a sincere need for the scholarship and how it will help you achieve your goals; a feeling of social responsibility and a readiness to participate in Exeter community life. 

Application Process: Applicants must submit a personal statement of up to 300 words explaining their future goals and how studying at Exeter will support them, what they can contribute to the campus environment, and how they would represent the University as an ambassador.

Value of the Scholarship: An award of between GBP 3,000 - GBP 5,000 towards International tuition fees.
