AEF Student Emergency Fund

The AEF Student Emergency Fund is provided by the Alliant Education Foundation and is managed by a campus committee and supports Alliant University students who are dealing with unanticipated and/or catastrophic life events that might otherwise cause the student to stop or pause their educational goals.

Eligibility criteria for the AEF Student Emergency Fund:

• The applicant must be in good academic standing or supply a relevant letter from their Program Director.
• The applicant must be currently taking classes at Alliant University.
• The applicant must be enrolled during the summer semester.
• The student must be registered for at least six 6 credits for the fall semester if not enrolled in summer classes.
• The applicant must submit a completed online application, a personal statement, and supplementary documents showing financial need.
• The applicant must have exhausted all other financial options.
• Students who receive Alliant tuition waivers or Alliant-issued grants are not eligible to receive this scholarship

Application process for the AEF Student Emergency Fund:

• The applicant must submit their completed application.
• The applicant must submit a personal statement explaining what happened, why it was unexpected, the amount and purpose of funds requested, and how it affects your education.
• The applicant must submit their documentation of financial need.
