Women in Science and Engineering (WISE) Scholarship
The WISE Scholarship supports female students pursuing undergraduate studies in engineering, physical sciences, energy, geoscience, infrastructure and related fields at Heriot-Watt University Malaysia.
Eligibility Criteria for the Women in Science and Engineering (WISE) Scholarship:
- Applicants must be Malaysian female students with qualifications from a recognised Malaysian institution.
- Applicants must be enrolled in a full-time undergraduate programme within EPS or EGIS.
- Applicants must demonstrate academic excellence, leadership, extracurricular involvement and a passion for STEM.
- Applicants must have an offer letter at the time of application.
Application process for the Women in Science and Engineering (WISE) Scholarship:
- Applicants must submit the scholarship application with the required offer letter and supporting documents.
- Applicants must apply by 5 December for the January intake or 7 August for the September intake.

The Women in Science and Engineering (WISE) Scholarship aims to provide quality education in Engineering and Science to women in the ASEAN region. Scholarships are available for Foundation and Undergraduate levels, including programs such as Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Construction Project Management, Computing Science, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Quantity Surveying.
