Abraham Polonsky Undergraduate Award in Screenwriting at California State University, Northridge 2025

This award is granted to a CTVA graduating senior in the Screenwriting Option. In the spirit of Abraham Polonsky’s personal vision and creative work, it is preferred that the screenplay engage themes of social consciousness. This is a merit-based award.

Note: All applicants for this award MUST also complete the online “Applicant Information Form”.

Eligibility criteria -

The applicant must be a graduating senior in the Screenwriting Option.
They must also demonstrate good academic standing.

Application process -

The applicant is to submit a feature-length screenplay (PDF format).
