The Living World Scholarship was created by Mary Decious, an alumna of the Biological Sciences and Chemistry departments.

Eligibility criteria for Mary Decious Living World Scholarship:

  • The applicant must have a major in Biological Sciences
  • They must have a minimum GPA: 2.5 overall GPA, in good academic standing
  • The Class Level: Undergrad: Sophomore, Junior, Senior. Graduate: Classified
  • The Financial need may be considered, but is not required
  • The applicant must be enrolled full-time at the time of award; the student must have completed at least one full semester at Sacramento State.
