Overview

Eligibility Criteria of the Scholarship:

  • Applicants holding active membership in a protestant church are given first consideration.
  • Applicants must exhibit evidence of proven social commitment.
  • Applicants must be citizens of a member state or accession country of the EU or other citizenship in accordance with Section 8 of the German Federal Training Assistance Act.
  • Applicants without German citizenship must possess good German language skills.
  • Applicants older than 35 must enclose a special application.
  • At the time of application, applicants must not have advanced beyond the 3rd subject-related semester.

  • Photograph;
  • Scan of ID-card or residence permit;
  • Tabular CV (max. 2 pages, font size 12 Arial);
  • Letter of motivation;
  • University entrance certificate. 

Value of Evangelisches Studienwerk Awards in Germany:
