Ten selected students will receive a one-time $50,000 grant to help with course fees and other educational expenses from the Western Australian Premier's University grant. All five of Western Australia's universities accept high-achieving overseas students under the scholarship program. Up until 2026, two outstanding overseas students at each of WA's five institutions will get a scholarship; this will result in ten scholarships given out annually. To be eligible for this award, prospective overseas students must apply directly via the university of their choice.

Eligibility for Western Australian Premier’s University Scholarships Program:

  • Eligibility criteria differ for each of the 5 universities hence International applicants must fulfill the requirements listed in the online application form on the website of the university of their choice.
  • Candidates must be enrolled in one of Western Australia's five universities as a new overseas student in an undergraduate or graduate program, depending on what their selected university specifies.

Application process:

  • Students must go to the application page of their potential university in order to apply.
  • The institution of their choice will review applications submitted by students through a written application procedure. This might involve evaluating academic records, answering application-specific qualitative questions, and reviewing any supporting materials sent to each applicant.
