Under the Agreements with Young Adult program (AYA) at Camosun College 2026

Introduction: 

This program provides the financial and support services to the youth who leave government care at age 19. It also helps in covering the living expenses and other costs while participants complete high school, post-secondary education, vocational training, rehabilitation programs, or approved life skills programs.

Eligibility requirements for the Under the Agreements with Young Adults (AYA) program at Camosun College:

• Applicant must be 19 years old to 26, inclusive.
• The 19th birthday should be arranged in the following care arrangements:
  • The custody of a director, the guardianship of a director of adoption, and the guardianship under the family relations act.
• Primarily the scholarship is applicable to the undergraduate students.

Value of the scholarship:

Up to a maximum of CAD 1,250 per month is awarded to support a full-time student.
