The Sydney V Regan MA Scholarships at University College Cork 2026

Introduction 

The Sydney V. Regan MA Scholarships are offered by the Department of Music at University College Cork (UCC) to support students enrolling in taught master's programs in music. The scholarships are available for programs including the MA in Irish Traditional Music, in Music and Cultural History, in Experimental Sound Practice, and in Ethnomusicology.

Eligibility requirements for the Sydney V. Regan MA Scholarships at the University College Cork:

• The scholarship is available to students commencing an eligible taught MA program.
• The applicants must be born in Ireland or 
• They must have a parent who was born in Ireland or
• They should have been ordinarily resident in Ireland for at least ten years.

Application Process:

• The applicants must apply through UCC’s application system for the relevant taught master's program.

Value of the Scholarship:

• EUR 3,000 is available to support a full-time student.
