The R.G.G. Barry Prize in Paediatrics at University College Cork 2026

Introduction:

The R.G.G. Barry Prize in Paediatrics recognizes outstanding academic achievement in Paediatrics at University College Cork (UCC). The prize is awarded annually to the student who achieves the highest marks in Paediatrics

Eligibility criteria for the Prize in the R.G.G. Barry Prize in Paediatrics at University College Cork:

• The applicants must be a current UCC student.
• The applicants must achieve the highest marks in Paediatrics at the Final Medical Examination.
• The applicants must have been a student at UCC for the three years immediately preceding the Final Medical Examination.
• The applicants must not have passed the Third University Examination in Medicine more than three years before the Final Medical Examination

Application Process:

• No separate application is required. The prize is awarded automatically based on academic performance in pediatrics

Value of the Scholarship:

• EUR 1,000 is awarded to support a full-time student.
