Eligibility Criteria for Christine and Ian Bolt Scholarship at University of Kent 2025:

Applicants must:

• Hold an excellent Bachelor’s degree (1st or 2:1) or Master’s degree.
• Be a currently registered student (full-time or part-time) on a postgraduate research or taught degree at the University of Kent
• Be enrolled in one of these Academic Divisions:
  • Kent Law School
  • School of Arts and Architecture
  • School of Humanities
  • School of Psychology
  • The Language Centre
  • School of Social Sciences
  • Durrell Institute of Conservation and Ecology, School of Natural Sciences
• Have excellent written and oral communication skills, and be able to explain their project clearly to non-experts.
• Convey passion for their project and convince the panel of its wider value
• Act as an ambassador for the university and their subject.

• Covering letter stating reasons for applying, including names of two referees
• Proposed budget showing use of scholarship funds
