Introduction:

The MacConaill Prize was established by the family of the late Professor Michael A. MacConaill to honor his outstanding contributions to the functional anatomy of the locomotor system.

Eligibility criteria for the MacConaill Prize at University College Cork:

The applicants must be a current UCC student and must be a second-year medical student.
The applicants must have passed the entire First University Examination in Medicine at the first summer examination, without compensation or exemption.
The applicants must rank among the top 10% of the class in anatomy.

Application Process:

No separate application is required. Eligible students are nominated based on their performance

Value of the Scholarship:

A EUR 150 is awarded to support a full-time student.
