Kwantlen Polytechnic University (KPU) offers the Indigenous Entrance Scholarship to Indigenous students who demonstrate academic excellence, leadership, community involvement, and volunteerism.

Eligibility criteria for the Indigenous Entrance Scholarship at Kwantlen Polytechnic University 2026:

• Applicants must identify as Aboriginal, First Nations, Metis, or Inuit.
• Applicants must have an 80% average in English Studies 12 and three other academic Grade 12 courses, or a 3.67 transfer GPA based on at least 24 transferable university credits.
• Applicants must demonstrate leadership, community involvement, and volunteerism.
• Applicants must maintain 12 undergraduate credits per semester.
• Applicants must maintain a minimum 3.0 CGPA to continue receiving the award.

Application Process for the Indigenous Entrance Scholarship at Kwantlen Polytechnic University 2026:

• Applicants must apply for admission to KPU and be accepted.
• Applicants must complete the KPU Major Entrance Scholarship application through their myKPU account.
• Applicants must submit the required supporting documents, including transcripts and reference letters.
• Supporting documents must be submitted from the applicant's KPU email account.

Value: CAD 7,500

• Fall Intake: 2 awards of CAD 7,500 each, split over two terms in the first year (Fall and Spring).
  Spring Intake: 1 award of CAD 7,500, split over two terms in the first year (Spring and Fall).
