Eligibility Criteria for The Darlington Scholarship at University of Edinburgh 2025:
Applicants must:
- Complete an undergraduate degree at the University of Edinburgh in the 2024-2025 academic year.
- Have been in receipt of Access Edinburgh or Scotland Scholarship during their undergraduate study.
- Have Scotland domiciled fee status (eligible for SAAS funding) at both undergraduate and postgraduate level.
- Have applied for admission to an eligible 1-year full-time on-campus postgraduate taught Masters (PGT) or Masters by Research (MScR) programme for the 2025-2026 academic year.
Applicants will not be eligible if:
- Already in receipt of, or later awarded, a full scholarship.
- Accepted another University of Edinburgh scholarship.
- Fully sponsored by an employer.
Value of The Darlington Scholarship at University of Edinburgh 2025:
- £16,000 cash award.
- 40% fee reduction on eligible programmes.
- Fees capped at £18,000 for programmes costing more than that, with a 40% reduction applied.
- Award paid in three equal instalments over the academic year.
