TEAM IM NZ Scholarship for Maori School Leavers at the University of Wellington
This scholarship supports Māori students planning to study IT-related subjects. TEAM IM NZ, a company with over 20 years in content management and data solutions in New Zealand and Australia, aims to promote sustainable IT careers for Māori through scholarships and internships.
Eligibility Criteria of TEAM IM NZ Scholarship for Maori School Leavers:
- Applicants must be New Zealand citizens of Māori descent (proof required) and intend to enrol at Te Herenga Waka—Victoria University of Wellington.
- Eligible degrees include: BE(Hons) in Software Engineering or Cybersecurity Engineering, BSc in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or Information Systems, and BCom in Information Systems.
Selection Criteria:
- Selection is based on financial hardship and satisfactory academic progress, with encouragement for wāhine to apply.
- Proficiency in Te Reo, or a willingness to learn, will be considered beneficial.
Application Process: A completed online application must be submitted on the closing date. Late or incomplete applications will not be accepted.
Award: NZD 24,000 (NZD 8,000 per annum).
