TAFE WA Scholarship
The TAFE WA Scholarship is provided by TAFE WA. It acknowledges commencing students who have completed a diploma, advanced diploma or associate degree at one of TAFE WA’s institutions and are continuing their studies in the same field at the university.
Eligibility criteria of the TAFE WA Scholarship:
- The applicant must be a current or past student at South Metropolitan TAFE, North Metropolitan TAFE or Regional TAFE.
- The applicant must be completing, or have completed, a diploma, advanced diploma or an associate degree in the same field as their Murdoch University bachelor's degree course.
- The applicant must have submitted an application to Murdoch University, or be commencing their first semester, in one of Murdoch University's courses.
- The applicant must commence at Murdoch University within one semester of completing their TAFE course.
- The applicant must permit their image and name to be used by the University in their media and publications.
- International students in receipt of an International Welcome Scholarship are not eligible for the TAFE WA Scholarship.
Application process for the TAFE WA Scholarship:
- The applicant must complete the given application form.
- The applicant must provide a copy of their TAFE academic results and Certificate of Award.
- The applicant must provide a personal statement of no more than 300 words that addresses what has influenced their decision to study their chosen course.
- The applicant must provide a personal statement of no more than 300 words that addresses what their personal and career goals are, and how this scholarship will assist them in achieving these goals.
- The applicant must provide a personal statement of no more than 300 words that addresses their financial hardship and include information about this in this statement.
- The applicant must provide financial hardship documentation (if applicable).
- The applicant must provide a reference from an academic tutor/lecturer.
