Southern Cross University High Achiever Scholarship 2026

Introduction: 

Southern Cross University High Achiever Scholarship believes in fostering the next generation of brilliant minds and bold leaders to reach their full potential. The Southern Cross University High Achiever Scholarship will support high achievers from local schools from Northern New South Wales to South East Queensland.

Eligibility requirement for Southern Cross University High Achiever Scholarship :

• Must be commencing a full-time Bachelor’s degree at Southern Cross University in a Commonwealth Supported Place (CSP), studying on-campus or online (Coffs Harbour, Lismore, Gold Coast, National Marine Science Centre, or Online).
• Must have achieved an ATAR (or ATAR equivalent) of 85 or above in 2026 Year 12 studies.
• Must be a commencing undergraduate student and meet academic selection requirements (top 15 highest eligible ATAR achievers will be considered, with preference given to regional students from Northern NSW to South East Queensland or those who completed Year 12 in that region).
• Cannot hold this scholarship in conjunction with any other merit-based scholarship, as SCU will allocate the highest-value eligible merit scholarship automatically.

Value of the scholarship:

A AUD 36,000 is awarded to support a full-time student

Application Process:

Students do not have to apply for Merit-based Scholarships. The Scholarships will be awarded to 2026 school leavers achieving the ATAR or equivalent outlined above, and who are enrolled in a Bachelor degree program in 2027.
