Social Work Opportunity Grant

The Social Work Opportunity Grant helps to reduce the cost of graduate education for newly enrolled students in the Master of Social Work (MSW) program as they prepare to make a meaningful impact in their communities and beyond.

Eligibility criteria for the Social Work Opportunity Grant:

• The applicant must be a new student applying to the Master of Social Work program.
• The applicant must meet all admission requirements.
• The applicant must be fully admitted and confirmed by August 21st, 2026, and begin the program in the Fall 2026 term.
• The applicant must study full-time, remain continuously enrolled, and maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA.
• The grant cannot be combined with Alliant tuition waivers or other Alliant scholarships or grants.

Application process for the Social Work Opportunity Grant:

• The applicant must apply for admission and register for the grant using the designated online form.
• The applicant must apply as early as possible, as grants are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis while funding remains available.
