Eligibility Criteria for Social Justice Scholars Program:

Applicants must:

Be a current undergraduate student at University of Colorado Boulder.
Be entering their sophomore (2nd year) or junior (3rd year) during the 2026–27 academic year.
Have a declared major within the Social Science Division of the College of Arts & Sciences.
Have a cumulative CU GPA of 3.0 or higher.
Be in residence on the CU Boulder campus during the 2026–27 academic year.
Demonstrate interest and involvement in social justice through coursework, research, community service, leadership, or related activities.

Note: All social science majors are eligible: Anthropology, Economics, Ethnic Studies, International Affairs, Linguistics, Sociology, Political Science, Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences, and Women and Gender Studies.

Value of Social Justice Scholars Program:

Recipients receive a one-time scholarship award of $5,000 for the 2026–27 academic year.
